Adnan Khan posts the last of his script for Ishq Subhan Allah, marking an end to the show

Adnan Khan and Eisha Singh starrer Ishq Subhan Allah was rumoured to go off-air after it witnessed a drop in the TRP post-lockdown. However, the channel required a little more time to get the replacement show ready and with Eisha Singh’s comeback on the show, the fans had insisted on a happy ending for the lead characters Zara and Kabeer. Even though Eisha Singh had agreed to return on the show, her part was going to be of a limited period considering her prior commitments.

While no one from the channel had confirmed the show going off-air, Adnan Khan took to his Instagram to share a sneak-peek of his script, confirming the rumours. The show will soon be going off-air and the actors are wrapping their shoot as well. With a heavy heart, Adnan Khan posted the picture with Zara and Kabeer’s name highlighted in the script. Two friends of Sushant Singh Rajput to go on hunger strike from October 2 onwards

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14. His untimely death is being investigated by the Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI). It seems like there's unrest amongst his friends with the delay in updates from CBI. Two friends of Sushant Singh Rajput, Ganesh Hiwarkar & Ankit Acharya, have said that they are going on a hunger strike from October 2 onwards.

In a video, Hiwarkar said, "We have been demanding justice in the Sushant Singh Rajput murder case from the beginning. But, there have been no updates from the CBI for the past few days. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is doing its job and looking for drugs connection. We also want the drugs mafia to end. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also doing its job. But we want justice for Sushant and there has been no update from the CBI regarding that."

They said that if they get permission from the police, they'll go on a hunger strike at Delhi's Rajghat or in Mumbai. "That is why we are going on a three-day hunger strike from October 2. If we get permission from the Delhi Police, we will do the hunger strike outside Rajghat. If we don't get permission, we will do a hunger strike in Mumbai after taking permission from the Mumbai Police. If we don't get permission for that as well. We will do a hunger strike in my house," he added.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14.

Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: AIIMS panel submits conclusive findings to the CBI

For over three months, the country has been waiting to find out the reason behind Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death. The actor died by suicide on June 14 and his family along with his industry colleagues were keen on a CBI inquiry. However, after a simulation of his room in his Bandra apartment, the CBI sought help from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences’ Forensic Department. A team of four doctors led by Dr. Sudhir Gupta started looking into the late actor’s forensic and viscera reports.

As per the reports, after a study of over 40 days, the panel of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has submitted its conclusive findings to the CBI. The panel had earlier nullified the angle of a murder and had assured that the reports were being examined in all the possible angles. While there are no details regarding the conclusive reports, the family lawyer of Sushant Singh Rajput, Vikas Singh had expressed displeasure over the delay by the CBI.

Varun Dhawan to head to Chandigarh for Raj Mehta's romantic comedy with Kiara Advani

Earlier in August, Bollywood Hungama exclusively revealed that Good Newwz director Raj Mehta had locked in his next script & roped in Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani for the upcoming romantic comedy. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor as Varun's parents. The makers plan to take the film on floors by October end.

According to a daily, Varun Dhawan recently resumed work after six months at home for Amar Kaushik's Bhediya. He will soon head off to Chandigarh to begin the schedule of Raj Mehta's romantic comedy with Kiara Advani. The film's co-producer Shashank Khaitan is already in Chandigarh to work on selected teams for the shoot and procure permission to shoot at the locations.

It is being reported that Varun Dhawan may start shooting from October 24 onwards. Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor are expected to join the cast during the last schedule.

Interestingly, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani were supposed to star in Mr. Lele, directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film was eventually shelved. Kiara appeared in Kalank in a song sequence ‘First Class’ and dance with Varun.

This will be Kiara's second outing with Raj Mehta after blockbuster Good Newwz starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Diljit Dosanjh.

Bigg Boss 14 spokesperson confirms the time slot for airing the Salman Khan hosted show

Bigg Boss 14 is one of the most-watched reality shows on Indian television that has wooed its audience with new themes every year. The Salman Khan hosted show is all set to make a comeback in less than a week that will give a befitting reply to 2020. During the live press conference, Salman Khan had given a virtual tour of the house that will consist of amenities like the mall, a theatre, a restaurant, a spa, and many more.

While the launch nears, there were rumours that the show will air only for half an hour unlike its usual one-hour time slot. A spokesperson from the channel confirmed the timing and said that the show will have its usual hour-long time slot this season, too. The statement reads, “The news about the on air time of Bigg Boss to be 30 minutes is untrue. The show will air for its usual 1 hour duration Monday to Friday at 10.30 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 9pm starting 3rd October”.

Well, that is some good news for the fans. As of now, only Jaan Kumar Sanu has been confirmed as the contestant for Bigg Boss 14.

Sonu Sood’s character gets larger-than-life upgrade in Kandireega sequel after his philanthropic work

Actor Sonu Sood is back to work. After spending the lockdown by helping the migrants and daily wage workers, the actor has landed in Hyderabad for the sequel of the Telugu film, Kandireega. The actor, who began work on Monday, September 28, has seen an upgrade in his character.

After seeing his philanthropic work over the last six months, the makers of the film decided to make his character larger-than-life. The makers reportedly had completed 80 percent of the film but Sonu revealed to a daily that after his work, they decided to make changes in the character. He started work on Monday with all new dialogues.

He will be in Hyderabad for a week before coming back to Mumbai to resume the shoot of Prithviraj on October 7 or 8. He has a few ad shoots that he plans to film in the evenings. Sonu Sood will be working double shifts in order to complete his schedule.

Ritesh Sidhwani's GullyBoy makes its mark at SWA Awards 2020

One of the most talked about films of 2019 which won hearts with its storyline and unwrapped the underground rap scene is Ritesh Sidhwani and Excel Entertainment's Gully Boy. The film was more of an emotion which touched hearts and was India's official entry for the Oscars .

Manoj Bajpayee feels that news channels are not highlighting the plight of migrants

Actor Manoj Bajpayee was recently seen in the music video titled ‘Bambai Mai Ka Ba’. The actor wanted to channel the nostalgia and pride of migrants. The Bhojpuri rap highlights the plight of people who leave their native places and move to big cities in search of employment.

Talking to a news agency, Manoj Bajpayee said that it is sad that the migrant issues are not highlighted by the news channels. The actor said that he wanted the rap to reflect the pride he has for his birthplace. The Aligarh actor feels that rap is a great way to protest and express your anger. He said that he improvised a lot while performing. He also wanted to show that while there is anger, he also prides in the village he comes from.

The song was written by Dr Sagar and directed by Anubhav Sinha. Manoj Bajpayee rapped in his first language Bhojpuri while talking about issues that bother him.

Sushant Singh Rajput case: CBI says ‘no aspect ruled out’; investigation is continuing

A few days back, the lawyer representing Sushant Singh Rajput's family expressed his anger at the CBI delaying the investigation. Now, the investigating agency has said that “no aspect has been ruled out”. Sushant's family believes that he was murdered and did not die by suicide.

"The Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting a professional investigation related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in which all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as of date. The investigation is continuing," the agency said in its statement on Monday.

The CBI had taken up the case from the Mumbai Police in mid-August. Ever since, fans and family members of the late actor have been expecting to get closure in the case. A week ago lawyer Vikas Singh had tweeted, “Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to Murder of SSR. The Doctor who is part of AIIMS team had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200% that it's death by strangulation and not suicide. (Sic)"

Singh also alleged that the pace of the CBI probe has slowed down and all the attention is being diverted to the drugs related probe.

Meanwhile, the AIIMS forensic team is working on the autopsy report of the late actor. They were scheduled to meet the CBI with their findings in the last week, however, the meeting was postponed.

Vikrant Massey to star in the remake of Tamil action-thriller Maanagaram

Remaking South Indian films is not a new trend in the Hindi film industry. But with films like Kabir Singh, the trend seems to have gained a lot of momentum and many actors and directors are taking the route. The latest actor to join the bandwagon is Vikrant Massey. The young actor will be seen playing the lead in the Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil action thriller, Maanagaram which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The Hindi version of the film will be directed by ace cinematographer and filmmaker Santosh Sivan and will also see actor Sanjay Mishra in an important role. The shooting of the film is expected to start in January next year and will have around a 50-day schedule in Mumbai. Major portions of the film will be shot at night.

Producer Shibu Thameens has confirmed the news to an online portal and said that the Hindi version will be far more detailed than the original and will be a visual treat. He also mentioned that Vikrant will be seen playing a young angry man, a role that is completely different from anything that he has done so far.

Maanagaram received wide commercial success and critical acclaim upon its release. It will be interesting to see how the film is adapted to suit the sensibilities of the Hindi film-watching audience. And with Vikrant leading the cast, he is sure to bring an element of freshness and grit to the table.

On the work front, Vikrant Massey is enjoying the appreciation that he has received for two of his recently released films Cargo and Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare. The actor, who recently got back on the sets to shoot for a commercial after an unprecedented break of more than six months due to the on-going pandemic, will soon be seen in Ginny Weds Sunny which also features Yami Gautam. He will soon be resuming the shoot of Haseen Dillruba and will start the first schedule of 14 Phere.

Pakistan’s provincial KP Government to buy Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar’s ancestral house in Peshawar

The provincial government in Pakistan's Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has decided to purchase the ancestral houses of legendary Bollywood actors Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar. The Department of Archaeology in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province has decided to allocate sufficient funds for purchasing the two buildings.

The two buildings which have been declared as the national heritage and lie in the heart of Peshawar city are in a dilapidated condition and are facing demolition threat. The officials plan to conserve the historic buildings. According to reports, an official letter has been sent to the Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar to determine the cost of both the buildings.

Raj Kapoor's ancestral home known as Kapoor Haveli is situated in the fabled Qissa Khwani Bazar and was built between 1918 and 1922. Raj Kapoor was born in the building.

Meanwhile, veteran actor Dilip Kumar's over 100-year-old ancestral house is also located in the same locality. The house was declared as national heritage in 2014.

Reportedly, the current owner of the Kapoor Haveli, Ali Qadar has demanded Rs 200 crores from the KP government to sell it out to the government. In 2018, Rishi Kapoor requested the Pakistan Government to convert the Kapoor Haveli into a museum. However, the request was not materialised.

Case filed against Kangana Ranaut in Karnataka for calling farm bills protesters “terrorist”

Kangana Ranaut has once again landed in legal trouble as a criminal case has been lodged against her in Karnataka. The case was lodged against her tweet on farmers who are opposing the three controversial farm bills. In the tweet she called the protesters "terrorists". 

Reacting to a tweet by Prime Minister Modi on the farm bills, Ranaut wrote, "Prime Minister, if anyone’s sleeping, they can be woken up, if someone doesn’t understand, they can be explained, but what can be done when someone is acting to be asleep or doesn’t want to understand? These are the same terrorists. Not one citizenship was lost due CAA, but they ended up spilling so much blood.”

Later, Kangana reshared her tweet and said there was no fault with her tweet. She said: “Just as Shri Krishna had a Narayani army, Pappu also has a champu army that only knows how to fight through rumors. This is my original tweet, if anyone can prove that I’m calling farmers terrorists, I will apologize and leave Twitter forever. ”

A case has been lodged under Section 44, 108, 153, 153A, and 504 of IPC.
