Sajid Nadiadwala addresses rumours around Housefull 5 star cast; check out official statement here

Amid speculations around the casting of Housefull 5, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has issued an official statement requesting media houses to refrain from making any premature announcements. The film is all set to be released during Diwali in 2024.

In June this year, Akshay announced the fifth instalment of his hit comedy franchise Housefull. The film is helmed by Tarun Mansukhani and is scheduled to hit the theatres on the occasion of Diwali 2024.

Housefull 5 marks the first-ever franchise film in Indian Cinema to have five instalments. The first part of Housefull was released in the year 2010 and starred Akshay, Riteish, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal and Boman Irani. The film was declared a hit, followed by another hit sequel Housefull 2 which was released in the year 2012 and included a stellar cast of Akshay, Ritiesh, John Abraham, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Asin. Both of the parts were helmed by director Sajid Khan.

However, Sajid Khan was replaced in the third instalment of the film by director duo Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji. The film was released in 2016. Director Farhad Samji helmed the fourth part of the franchise which was a reincarnation comedy film. The latest instalment in the franchise, Housefull 4, was released 4 years ago.

Mumbai Police arrest 3 people for stealing mobile phones of Shah Rukh Khan fans outside Mannat

Bandra Police have arrested three people in connection with the theft of mobile phones of Shah Rukh Khan’s fans outside his residence, Mannat, on his birthday. The accused have been identified as Shubham Jamnaprasad, Mohammed Ali, and Imran.

According to a report by the Free Press Journal, the police have recovered nine mobile phones from the accused. They were able to identify the accused with the help of CCTV footage from the incident site and adjacent areas.

On November 2, Shah Rukh Khan's 58th birthday, a large crowd of fans gathered outside Mannat to wish him. At least 30 fans reported that their mobile phones were stolen during this time.

Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to thank his fans for their birthday wishes and said, "It's unbelievable that so many of u come & wish me late at night. I am but a mere actor. Nothing makes me happier, than, the fact that I can entertain u a bit. I live in a dream of your love. Thank u for allowing me to entertain you all. C u in the morning...on the screen & off it."

In addition to this, King Khan also shared the first teaser of his upcoming film, Dunki. Having said that, it is worth noting that Bollywood Hungama has recently reported that four more teasers of Dunki have been granted a censor certificate. 

While the second and third teasers’ duration is 58 seconds each, the fourth teaser is 1 minute 48 seconds long. Meanwhile, the fifth teaser has a run time of 1 minute 50 seconds. The sixth and final teaser has a duration of 1 minute 51 seconds. The film, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is scheduled to release on December 22.

BREAKING: Contrary to reports, The Marvels to share shows with Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 in IMAX screens; to take advantage of Tiger 3's Sunday release and go for wide screen count for the first two days

There have been reports floating in media circles that The Marvels won't get a release in the IMAX screens in India since Salman Khan's Tiger 3 has snatched away shows in the premium screens. Bollywood Hungama has learned that this is not the case.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The Marvels will share shows with Tiger 3. But contrary to certain reports, it's not like it'll skip a release in IMAX. Marvel and IMAX have a long association and there's no way an MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) film would not release in IMAX screens in India.”

Further talking about the screen count, the source added, “Tiger 3 releases on Sunday, November 12. The Marvels, meanwhile, will hit the theatres on Friday, November 10. The Marvels will take advantage of Tiger 3's Sunday release and go for a wide release for the first two days in all languages and all formats.”

The source continued, “The shows will obviously reduce once Tiger 3 arrives in cinemas on November 12. But the Disney team is confident that by then, word of mouth will spread and they'll get the audience in hordes once the holidays begin from Monday, November 13.”

An exhibitor reminded, "This also happened last year during Diwali 2022. Warner Bros' Black Adam was released on Friday, October 21. It had a wide release before Ram Setu and Thank God released on Tuesday, October 25. By then, it collected a healthy Rs. 23.50 crores in four days and continued to earn thereafter as the positive reports of the film were out."

He added, “The Nun II also clashed with Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan in September this year and still was a hit. The Marvels can also follow suit if the content is strong.”

Meanwhile, the advance booking of The Marvels began today. Tiger 3's ticket sales will start on Sunday, November 5.

Tiger 3 gets bigger! Hrithik Roshan joins the Salman Khan starrer, YRF Spy Universe brings back Kabir: Report

Yash Raj Films is ready to set the cash counters ringing this festive season with its latest offering Tiger 3, a YRF Spy Universe film. Starring Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif, Tiger 3 is set to release on Diwali Day, Sunday, November 12! While fans are excited to see the reunion of Tiger and Zoya, they are equally excited to witness Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan appear in the project. Now, it seems like the third spy Kabir from War, played by Hrithik Roshan, is also set to make a surprise appearance in the third installment of the Tiger franchise.

For unversed, though Salman Khan was the first spy in the YRF Spy Universe, Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan kicked off the interconnection between the said universe. Salman Khan made an extended cameo in the movie as Tiger and the audience was delighted to have the beloved Khans back on the big screen. Now that Pathaan is gearing up to help Tiger in the Maneesh Sharma directorial, Kabir is heading to the franchise. According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source revealed,  “Aditya Chopra has set the wheel in motion for a full convergence of super spies within the YRF Spy Universe. No one knows, but along with Pathaan, Kabir will also be making an appearance in Tiger 3. A handful of people know how Adi is visualizing Kabir in Tiger 3 and this information is being kept under wraps to be only revealed on the big screen when Tiger 3 releases on November 12.”

“Three of India’s biggest superstars – Salman, SRK & Hrithik – are in the same universe and now also the same film. This is definitely a moment to celebrate for all the cine-goers. Kabir’s appearance in Tiger 3 is just the beginning of something special in the future of this universe. At this point in time, no one knows the dynamics of how the three super spies will be presented and if they will be in the same frame or not,” the source added.

Hrithik Roshan is already starring in War 2 which will be helmed by Ayan Mukerji. It also stars Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani. Meanwhile, there is another spy project with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan titled Tiger vs Pathaan to be directed by Siddharth Anand.

Tiger 3 is the 5th film in the blockbuster YRF Spy Universe which follows the events of Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War & Pathaan. It has been directed by Maneesh Sharma. It will open in Hindi, Tamil dubbed & Telugu dubbed versions. Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher starrer Ghoomer set for digital premiere on ZEE5 on November 10

ZEE5 today announced the world digital premiere of Ghoomer. The movie features Shabana Azmi, Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, and Angad Bedi and a special appearance by none other than Amitabh Bachchan. Helmed by R. Balki, Ghoomer is all set to make its digital premiere on 10th November on ZEE5.

Produced by Hope Film Makers and Saraswati Entertainment, Saiyami Kher plays Anina Dixit, a talented cricketer whose dreams are shattered by a tragic accident leading to the loss of her right arm. Paddy (played by Abhishek Bachchan), a former test cricketer, becomes her coach and helps her become the first-ever one-armed spinner, propelling her to play for the Indian National Team. The coach gives her new hope, trains her with unconventional techniques and invents a Ghoomer bowling style to turn her fate around. Ghoomer shows how people can win over tough times and get another shot at success by beating all odds.

Uorfi Javed ARRESTED for her fashion choices? Video shows police taking her into custody, watch

A video has gone viral on social media showing Uorfi Javed being taken into police custody on Friday morning in Mumbai. The video, shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani, shows Uorfi on a coffee run when a group of alleged police officers approach her and ask her to accompany them to the police station.

When the former Bigg Boss OTT contestant questions the reason for her detention, one of the officers asks her in return, "Itne chote chote kapde pehenke kaun ghumta hai?" (Who walks around wearing such skimpy clothes?)

The 26-year-old actress-model is seen wearing a backless red top and a pair of denim pants in the video. She is seen asking the officials for the reason again, but they do not provide her with a clear answer.

Social media users are divided over the authenticity of the video. Some believe that it is a prank by Uorfi herself, while others believe that she has indeed been arrested. Thus, it is still unclear whether Uorfi has actually been arrested or if the video is just a prank. 

Having said that, it is worth noting that Uorfi has landed in trouble due to her fashion choices in the past. Last month, a complaint was filed against her at the Bandra Police Station for her fashion choices, according to ETimes. The actress had visited the police station soon after the complaint was filed.

BREAKING: CBFC passes Tiger 3 with U/A certificate with ZERO visual cuts; replaces ‘bewakoof’ with ‘mashroof’ and ‘foolish’ with ‘busy’ in subtitles

9 days are left for the release of Tiger 3 and the excitement is tremendous. Starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, the film belongs to the much-loved YRF (Yash Raj Films) Spy Universe, a franchise which has become bigger and bigger with each film. With the action entertainer releasing on Diwali, the producers made sure to begin the censor process well in time. Bollywood Hungama has learned that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared the film, albeit with some modifications.

The good news is that unlike Spy Universe’ previous film, Pathaan (2023), the Examining Committee of the CBFC has asked for only audio cuts and haven’t axed any visual from the film. The CBFC asked the word ‘bewakoof’ to be replaced with ‘mashroof’ and ‘foolish’ with ‘busy’ in the subtitles. In certain dialogues, RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) has been mentioned. The CBFC asked the makers to use the correct abbreviation, that is, R&AW, in these dialogues. Finally, the cut list mentions that ‘the modification with respect to the National Anthem is retained as per request’.

Once these changes were carried out, Tiger 3 was granted a U/A certificate on October 27. The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate is 153 minutes. In other words, the run time of Tiger 3 is 2 hours and 33 minutes.

Tiger 3 will release in cinemas on Sunday, November 12. Shah Rukh Khan, who played the lead in Pathaan, features in this film in a special appearance. Interestingly, in Pathaan, it was Tiger (Salman Khan) who came to Pathaan’s rescue. Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma.

Besides Tiger 3 and Pathaan, the other films of YRF Spy Universe are Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and War (2019). War starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Interestingly, the shoot of War 2, featuring Hrithik and Jr NTR, is underway at present.

EXCLUSIVE: Neena Gupta and Rakul Preet Singh team up for a comedy, to commence shoot from November 4

Veteran actress Neena Gupta made a comeback into mainstream Bollywood in 2018 with films like Veere Di Wedding, Mulk and Badhaai Ho and all three projects turned out to be successful. There has been no looking back for her then. She did a number of projects from here on, including the highly acclaimed and loved web series Panchayat. Now, Bollywood Hungama has exclusively come to know that Gupta is all set to embark on another interesting project.

As per our sources, Neena Gupta will be starring with Rakul Preet Singh in an upcoming comedy movie, which is yet untitled. In fact, the two actresses are all set to start shooting the film from November 4 in Alibaug.

While not much is known exactly about the subject of the film, it is confirmed that the movie will be directed by Ashish R Shukla. He is known the most for helming the acclaimed and appreciated web shows Candy for Voot Select and Undekhi for Sony LIV. His other notable work includes the quirky and satirical web movie Bohut Hua Sammaan, which starred Sanjay Mishra and Raghav Juyal, among others.

Neena Gupta was last seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s recently released web series Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley. Rakul Preet Singh’s last project was the web movie I Love You. Directed by Nikhil Mahajan, it also starred Akshay Oberoi and Pavail Gulati.

MEGA EXCLUSIVE: Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 to release in USA, UAE, GCC, Europe, Africa on Saturday, November 11 (DETAILS INSIDE)

YRF (Yash Raj Films) is set to release its next offering, the YRF Spy Universe film, Tiger 3, on November 11 in overseas territories owing to exhibitors‘ demands based on outstanding advance sales and no Pre-Diwali effect in these markets.

All international territories, starting with the Middle East and all western markets, will release Tiger 3 timed to 9 pm IST on November 11. Asia Pacific & Australia and New Zealand markets will open on November 12.

Bollywood Hungama has a complete list of what time Tiger 3 will release in overseas territories on November 11. In New York, USA, Tiger 3’s shows will begin at 11:30 am while in Los Angeles on the western coast, the shows will commence from 8:30 am. While the shows will start playing at 7:30 pm in UAE, in GCC it will play from 6:30 pm onwards. Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, it will begin at 3:30 pm and the shows of Tiger 3 will commence in the rest of Europe and Africa at 4:30 pm and 5:30 respectively. The idea behind these timings is to ensure that all the shows start when the time is 9:00 pm in India on Saturday, November 11.

Tiger 3 stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi and is a part of the much-loved YRF Spy Universe. The franchise began with Ek Tha Tiger (2012) followed by Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). These two films also featured Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. This was followed by War (2019), featuring Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. Then came Pathaan, which was released on Republic Day 2023. It starred Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Salman featured in a cameo as Tiger. In Tiger 3, Shah Rukh Khan will reprise the role of Pathaan. The Maneesh Sharma-directorial will also see a release in IMAX screens across the world.

PVR INOX to offer Rs 107 movie tickets on Nov 3 to celebrate team India's Asian Games success

With an objective to celebrate and honor Team India’s stupendous feat of winning 107 medals at the Asian Games, India’s largest cinema chain, PVR INOX Ltd has announced that all movie tickets on November 3, 2023 will be priced at a flat rate of Rs 107. Shortly after National Cinema Day, moviegoers can once again experience the latest films on the silver screen at slashed prices, with this celebratory initiative by PVR INOX as a tribute to athletes who made the nation proud. As a gesture of PVR INOX’s appreciation for the extraordinary accomplishment, the entire Indian contingent for the Asian Games will also be invited with their families to enjoy a movie of their choice, at any PVR INOX cinema in the country on November 3. PVR INOX has also announced that all the medal-winning athletes at Asian Games can avail unlimited number of movie watching experiences at any PVR INOX cinemas for a month, starting 3rd November, till 2nd December.
